WE OFFER:

DUTIES INCUDE:

All facets of shipping and receiving for the dealership.

·         Unpacking, accurately adjusting stock, and shelving of parts orders.

·         Unload equipment and material deliveries. Ensuring all items are undamaged, and placed in the proper location according to procedure.

Maintain an organized and clean yard area.

Snow removal in the winter, and lawn care in the summer.

Reposition equipment displays as directed.

Wash and detail equipment for display or delivery if required.

Minor repairs and building maintenance as required.

Inventory counts of parts and equipment.

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, following Lawson Sales policies.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Valid class 5 Driver’s License.

Forklift Operator’s License.

The ability to operate all types of equipment properly and in a safe manner.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

The ability to lift 50+ pounds.

The desire to work outside in all types of weather.

A positive attitude.

Be willing to do tasks as they are assigned.

Be self-motivated and take pride in your work.

WE OFFER:

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Being the first point of contact for clients, both in the dealership and on the phone.

Managing a multi-line telephone system, directing calls, and taking manual messages.

Directing customers to the appropriate department or employee when they enter the dealership.

Managing the incoming and outgoing faxes for all departments.

All facets of Accounts Payable for the dealership. (Ensuring the accuracy of invoicing, entering the invoices, costing to the correct accounts, reconciling vendor statements, cheque runs, etc.)

All facets of Accounts Receivable for the dealership. (Processing customer payments, applying payments to customer accounts, following up on delinquent accounts, managing the company deposit book, balancing the till daily, etc.)

Other administrative and clerical duties as deemed necessary.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Minimum of 1-2 years clerical experience.

Accounts Payable & Receivable experience a significant asset.

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedure.

Ability to follow directions and adapt to new situations.

Professional phone conduct, efficient call routing and message management.

Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.

Accuracy, attention to detail, time management, and balancing priorities is key.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Positive and cheerful disposition with customers, vendors, and the general public as the first point of contact in the dealership or over the phone.

Setup, inspection, and detailing of all new equipment.

Inspection, repairs, and refurbishing of all used equipment.

Basic/Complex Diagnostics on all types of lawn mowers, yard tractors, agriculture and construction equipment.

Repairs and Maintenance of customer and/or dealer owned equipment.

All technicians are responsible for the presentation and cleaning of their own work.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

The ability to operate all types of equipment properly and in a safe manner.

Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in mechanics.

Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

An excellent understanding of both gas and diesel engines.

The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Willingness to learn and take direction.

The ability to adapt and rise to new challenges.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Basic computer skills.

Valid Driver’s License.

  • High attention to detail with proven time management
    and organizational skills.

  • The ability to work in high pressure situations while
    remaining collected and focused on the task at hand.
